Giraffe Calf Saved From Thorn Fence

 A frightened young Giraffe became trapped after its legs tangled in an old thorn fence while fleeing through the bush.

Wildlife veterinarians carefully sedated the calf before cutting away the fencing that had wrapped tightly around its legs.

Once fully awake, the giraffe stood shakily before running back toward its anxious mother waiting nearby.
