A young Harbor seal was struggling to swim after becoming tightly entangled in discarded fishing net floating offshore.
A nearby fishing crew carefully approached the exhausted animal and used rescue knives to cut away the tangled plastic while keeping the seal calm.
As soon as the final strand was removed, the grateful seal slipped beneath the waves and swam away strongly, leaving the crew cheering.
