One energetic calf woke up before the rest of his family and immediately searched for something to do. Unfortunately, everyone else was still asleep.
The youngster poked trunks, climbed over legs, and trumpeted repeatedly in an effort to start the day. His enthusiasm was met with little success.
Eventually an older elephant stood up and the entire herd slowly followed. The calf appeared delighted to believe he had personally organized the morning routine.
