A stealthy Eurasian lynx crept through snowy woodland with a deer firmly in its sights. The cat closed the gap with astonishing silence.
Just as the lynx launched its attack, the deer changed direction sharply and bounded through thick undergrowth. Its agility turned the tables on the predator.
