While his herd browsed nearby, an elephant calf took it on himself to play crossing guard. Doing his best to intimidate the approaching tourists, they, in turn, were happy to watch the little bull’s macho antics.

One of the joys of watching elephants in the wild is that there is always something going on. Much of their behaviour is highly relatable to humans, especially that of the young.
