Elephant Tramples Rhino And Baby In Shocking Encounter

An irritable elephant was in no mood for company when it arrived at a waterhole. Unprovoked, it attacked a pair of rhinos, sending them running for their lives.

Krishna Tummalapalli filmed the bizarre interaction and submitted his version of events to Latest Sightings. He filmed it while staying at Shishangeni Lodge in the Kruger National Park. Disturbing the peace Krishna said, “We went to the watering hole and were watching two rhinos drinking water for a bit of time before we spotted two elephants approaching from the distance. Rhinos have notoriously poor eyesight, and with her offspring to protect, she took no chances.
